International Convention on Digital Transformation & Sustainability
ICI'27 brings together international B.Sc. students working in interdisciplinary virtual teams to develop concepts, formats, and prototypes. The programme culminates in a hands-on sprint in Cologne — with a final presentation at TH Köln's annual exhibition.
Program Architecture
International Convention Iteration – ICI'27 Blueprint
Sprint 1: The Problem Space
Team formation and defining the "Wicked Problem" within SDG 11. Following the kick-off, bi-weekly pitch & review sessions take place on Wednesdays (15:00 - 17:00 CET) starting Oct 21.
Sprint 2: Architecture & Specs
Strict reality check. Teams develop technical solutions and submit their 'Bill of Materials' (BoM) and Tech-Stack. If a hardware component or sensor isn't requested here, it won't be in the Cologne inventory.
Sprint 3: The Digital Pre-Build
The final digital review before traveling. GitHub repositories are populated, UI mockups are locked, and local backend environments are ready for physical integration.
Sprint 4: The Physical Execution
Concepts materialize into reality. 5 to 6 intensive days at TH Köln. International teams meet physically to solder, code, build, and launch the final exhibition.
